The Inventor’s Secret #1
While set in an interesting world with intriguing characters, I was a little disappointed in The Inventor’s Secret. As a stand alone novel, the plot fell flat, with very little development and no real conclusion. While I found some of the character development interesting, I didn’t feel like they had any real depth. For a fluffy romance story it was ok (except for the lack of resolution), but for a rebellious steampunk adventure, it felt lacking. Perhaps this story will improve when seen as a part of a whole, but I’m not rushing out to read the rest of the series.
