Shadow and Bone #1 (Grishaverse)
A fun and interesting story that instantly pulls you into the action. Loved the concept of the Grisha and exploring this new world. Strangely I feel that I’m am more interested in the Darkling’s character than Alina’s. I feel like there is more to uncover there. My only real complaint is that I felt the pacing was a little off (too slow in some places and too fast in others). Overall a great introduction to the world and start to the series. I look forward to reading more.
