What a great ending to an epic story! While a bit slow to start, this book quickly grew into the epic fantasy conclusion that I expected. Lia becomes a powerful force to be reckoned with! She has grown so much from the princess who ran out on her betrothal. While nothing will quite hold the magic of the first book for me as far as storytelling style, I loved the journey of our fearsome heroine, who finally finds her rightful place in the world!
